Joint concert of Anna Netrebko, Andrea Bocelli, Yusif Eyvazov and Olga Peretyatko

For the first time in history!

The grand gala concert of the brightest world stars of the classical music scene!

Joint concert of Anna Netrebko, Andrea Bocelli, Yusif Eyvazov and Olga Peretyatko will be held on June 4 in the State Kremlin Palace.

The organizer of the evening, producer Maxim Berin:

“It seemed impossible to gather opera stars on one stage. The schedules of each of them are settled for many years to come, they are the most demanded artists of today. And yet we succeeded: on June 4, both classical arias and popular melodies will be performed on the main stage of the country. This unique concert will undoubtedly go down in history of musical performances, the audience will come to see it from all over the world. This performance can be compared to the concert of Netrebko and Hvorostovsky at the Red Square or to the first concert of the three legendary tenors, Domingo, Carreras and Pavarotti, which took place in Rome in 1990. The historical concert will be accompanied by a large symphony orchestra and a choir. The audience will be impressed by the incredible stage decorations and a grandiose musical show.” Tickets will go on sale on December 24 and will be available on the website and at the box office of the official ticket operator, kassir.ru, as well as at the State Kremlin Palace.

As Celine Dion once said, "if God would have a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli." Bocelli is the legend of the new millennium. He is the Italian singer, who repeatedly earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records. In June 2019, the artist will visit Russia to take part in a unique project - a joint concert of the world opera stars. Bocelli has an amazing timbre, which is simultaneously strong and soft, heroic and sensual, deep and lyrical. The singer recorded 16 solo albums, which in total sold more than 90 million copies worldwide. Bocelli collaborated with the best conductors of our time, including Valery Gergiev, Zubin Mehta, Seiji Ozawa and Lorin Maazel. He worked with Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, Lang Lang, Sarah Brightman, Elton John, Chris Botti and many others. On October 26, 2018, the legendary artist released a new studio album Sì, instantly rising to the top of both British and American charts. For his artistry and sensuality, for the unique timbre and for the worldwide trend of classical music, which he was able to set, the singer is often called the Caruso of our millennium. Each of his concerts is a world phenomenon, deserving a long ovation.

Anna Netrebko has also changed the view on the opera scene and on the boundaries of classical music. Bright and artistic, Netrebko has received many titles and musical awards. Among them are eleven German ECHO Klassik awards, a nomination for the Grammy Awards, as well as the honorary title of Kammersängerin awarded to her by the Vienna State Opera. Netrebko has an unusually beautiful and strong voice, charisma and great charm, mesmerizing stage acting and staying in character. Today, Anna is a prima donna assoluta of the contemporary opera. She is performing as a soloist at the best opera houses in the world, and everywhere her performances are the most significant events of the season.

Fans of Anna’s musical and artistic talent have repeatedly noticed that the concerts of the opera diva with the magnificent singer Yusif Eyvazov are outstanding for their utter tenderness and energy. Yusif Eyvazov has the title of People's Artist of Azerbaijan, is the Grand-Prix holder of international competitions, his name was included in The World's Best Tenors book. Appearing on the world opera stage, he charmed the discerning audience with his rich voice and outstanding acting abilities. The gifted tenor's repertoire includes mostly parties from Italian operas that showcase full strength of his dramatic talent and vocal skills.

This evening another delightful voice that has conquered hundreds of thousands of fans around the world will join the star trio. A charming brunette, one of the most sought-after singers in Europe, Olga Peretyatko is well known to lovers of classical music. The critics celebrate her bright appearance and light voice, the sound of which is compared to the clearest nightingale trills. Among her achievements are the main roles in the operas by Handel, Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini, and Offenbach in the productions of the most famous opera houses in the world. Academy Theatre (Akademietheater)

Designed by the architects Fellner & Hellmer and Ludwig Baumann and built between 1911 and 1913, the Akademietheater has been the Burgtheater’s second venue since 1922. After many years of requests from ensemble members of the Burgtheater who wanted a second stage of more intimate dimensions, Max Paulsen succeeded in affiliating the “Theatre of the Academy of Music and the Performing Arts”, for brevity 's sake called Akademietheater, to the Burgtheater as a smaller, second venue. It was inaugurated on September 8, 1922, with a performance of Goethe’s Iphigenia in Tauris. After the Second World War, which the building survived intact, the theatre was re-opened on May 19, 1945, under the direction of Raoul Aslan with Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler. The Akademietheater was refurbished and technically upgraded in 1974 and in 1999.
